Resistance Training

Resistance training is essential for developing and reinforcing the muscles. Muscular strength is the human ability to correspond, through its muscular function, to external forces and/or its own weight, which overcomes, resists and attaches acceleration. Muscular strength depends on genetic, neural, environmental, hormonal factors, nutrition and physical exercise.
We can increase strength by using special machines, free weights, tubes, bars, dumbbells, body weight, plyometric exercise, etc.
Resistance exercise is very popular because of its fast and spectacular effects. (increase of muscular strength and muscular development).

Concerning the philosophy of teaching exercises technique, it is essential to pay attention in performing the correct way, the breathing, the range of motion, the appropriate weight and the repetition’s speed in order to avoid injury.
To improve are muscular strength it is needed to increase weight step by step during training periods.

Regarding strength forms and methods of developing, muscular development training is categorized in maximum strength training, meaning the maximum rate of strength that muscular system can perform at a specific speed or angle with a maximum conscious contraction. It can be achieved via muscular hypertrophy and intramuscular coordination.
Next there is muscular endurance training and finally, explosiveness training (power).

Of course, during schedule planning and application it is necessary to consider not only individual’s medical, nutritional, exercise history, but also all the basic training principles and methods.
Resistance training includes muscle training of upper body (chest, back, shoulders, biceps, triceps), lower body and abs and core.
