ABOUT US

My name is George Sarros and I’m a professor in Physical Education and Sports Science. I finished my studies at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2004.
I have two specialties which the main is Soccer Coaching and the other is Muscular Development and Nutrition. In addition, there are many certifications which I achieved, as I consider that education is something which we should always pursue.

At the past, during my professional career I was working at private gyms in Thessaloniki and Athens, at Soccer schools, nutritional centers as fitness scientific advisor and editor at magazines and wellness blogs. During the last 10 years, I work exclusively as a personal trainer trying to promote customized training and fitness helping individuals to achieve their personal goals.

Collaborations

Moreover, I cooperate with distinguished scientists in Health and Fitness sector. Firstly, with a Pathologist Doctor-Nutritionist. Correct and equilibrated nutrition has a great role at our physical and psychological health and ideally nutrition should be accompanied with exercise so we can profit the most.

Secondly, I have a cooperation with a Physiotherapy and Restoration center, as well as sports, intensive exercise, stress and heredity can cause injuries of muscular and skeletal system. The contribution of specialized exercise at rehabilitation is very important, but in some cases is necessary to use modern therapeutical equipment. Their goal is to restore injuries fast and restart training shortly after injury.

Ultimately, there is a collaboration with an Exercise Physiology Laboratory. Athletes and vulnerable population groups (obese people, pregnant women, hypertensive, heart patients, diabetics, etc.) can realize a full ergometer control for a personalized exercise program. This way, we can collect all important and useful information for their safety and effective exercise program application.
