Aerobic exercise

Aerobic exercise is used to improve the cardiovascular and respiratory system. We can improve our organism’s ability to receive and transfer oxygen, from the atmosphere to human tissue and consume it for energy production.
Aerobic ability is a very important element for evaluating our physical condition. Also, this ability is the maintenance of a relatively moderate exercise intensity for a long duration. It can be calculated and it is known as maximum oxygen intake (VO2 max)

Benefits of Aerobic exercise

Activities that mobilize large muscle groups are very important, exercises like running, jogging, swimming, biking, hiking, stairs, etc. We can perform part of these activities outdoors or indoors. Elliptical trainers, static bikes and treadmills are excellent choices for contacting physical movement.

Goals of Aerobic exercise

Concerning training objectives, we can plan a program for fat burning and general aerobic ability improvement using low intensities. For cardiovascular endurance and pulmonary capacity, it is needed to use higher intensities and sometimes lower via many methods. For example:

  • Stable intensity (speed, heartrate),
  • Speed alternation (HIIT),
  • Play with speed, (fartlek) the unprogrammed alternation of intensity.
